  5. The Palm Sales Order Processing module handles all of a company's order
  6. processing requirements and can be tailored to suit the processing of any
  7. company by the use of built-in system parameters. The system includes
  8. orders/back orders, forward orders, call-offs and quotations, plus the ability
  9. to amend, delete, hold and view orders. Further facilities include
  10. acknowledgment notes, delivery notes, invoices, order analysis and order
  11. history. Orders can be accessed by customer account, order reference or stock
  12. code. Quantities, price breaks, quantity discount schemes and trade discount
  13. schemes may or may not be used. To reflect a true stock balance, stock balances
  14. are maintained throughout the life of an order.
